Eddie Murphy's marriage over!

Just 2 weeks after Tracy Edmund's and Eddie Murphy's non legally binding ceremony in the Caribbean, People Magazine is reporting that the couple is splitting

The couple originally planned to have a legally binding ceremony when they returned to the States. This never happened.

Scary Spice is probably pleased!

Murphy's publicist released the following statement on Wednesday:

"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further. While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our love, friendship and respect that we will have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends."
