So remember when poor Jess watched boyfriend Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo perform poorly in his game? And when Terrel Owens had some choice quotes?

" I think with everything that has happened, and obviously the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel like she's probably taking his focus away."

This caused fans of opposing teams to don Jessica Simpson masks in hopes to mess up Tony Romo.

And then in the game where the Cowboys faced off against the NY Giants, the NY post planted a fake Jessica Simpson in the stands. ( who was actually Lyndsey Nordstrom) Whether or not this affected the game at all, the Cowboys still fell to the Giants.

Well we can all count on John Mayer to stand up for Jess.
